Home Visits
Volunteers visit with Catholic homebound within the St. Mary Parish boundary, bringing the warm presence of Christ, church bulletin and any developing news of the Parish. Commissioned Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to the Homebound may also bring the Eucharist. Anyone in a situation of serious illness, awaiting surgery, of advanced age, or in a situation of approaching death may ask for the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick.
Funerals
In the event of a loved one’s passing, please notify Lilly in the Parish Office for assistance in planning the funeral Mass. She will assist you and also coordinate with the funeral home regarding the funeral arrangements. If you are interested in joining a grief support group, please contact Lilly in the parish Office at 541-342-1139 .
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Do you like to knit or crochet? Then please consider joining the Prayer Shawl Ministry! Prayer Shawls or lap blankets provide comfort and solace to those experiencing difficult situations.
We’re a gathering of knitters and crocheters, using our talents to create these instruments of prayer. As needed, we also make baby blankets and hats which are donated to the 1st Way Pregnancy Resource Center.
If you are interested in joining this ministry, please contact Lilly at 5541-342-1139 ext. 312. All skill levels are welcome.
